The Position
1-Year Intern - Early Clinical Development - Clinical Operations (Summer 2025-2026): Inclusive Research & Health Equity Department Summary Within this intern role, you will be supporting the Clinical Operations group within Genentech Research and Early Development (gRED) Early Clinical Development (ECD) Operations and the broader gRED and Roche-Genentech organization. About gRED ECD Clinical Operations gRED ECD Clinical Operations provides expertise for clinical trials that support the overall early development strategies of the gRED portfolio. The team provides specialized expertise to support the advancement of groundbreaking therapies. About the gRED D&I Pillar: Advancing Inclusive Research and Health Equity gRED's D&I efforts are aligned with Genentech's Chief Diversity Office (CDO) pillars: Foster Belonging, Advancing Inclusive Research and Health Equity, and Transform Society. Improving health outcomes for all patients is core to our mission. The earlier teams think about inclusive research across all aspects of drug discovery and development, the more potential impact we can make. The gRED IRHE Pillar Team is dedicated to advancing health equity, improving access, and creating personalized healthcare solutions for all patients. This includes innovating clinical trial delivery to meet disease-specific needs, enabling greater diversity and inclusion in trials. The team supports gRED molecule teams in integrating inclusive research strategies into clinical development plans and fosters a cultural shift toward consciously applying IRHE principles in daily practices and decision-making. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position in California is $31.00 - $40.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
