ROLE: The Electrical Engineer supports engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.



  • Design, develop, document and release to production high quality control panel, display and human interface systems.
  • Collaborate with production, engineers and upper management in the development, verification and test of new product designs.
  • Report schedule and technical status on a regular basis and participate in program reviews internally and with the customers, be able to manage multiple projects
  • Accountability for project technical content, from development through product launch, as well as project adherence to budget and schedule milestones/ requirements.
  • Effective use of development tools, test and integration equipment during development process.
  • Participate in the equipment certification process by performing and documenting technical analysis, test procedures and reports.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering


EXPERIENCE



  • 5-10 years' experience in Engineering
  • STRONG Electrical Engineering background required.
  • Experience in the design, development and release to production high quality products.
  • Experience applying and maintaining quality standards, including conducting tests and inspections.
  • Preference for experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD software.


KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES



  • Language/Communication Skills: English: ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, report and correspondence. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft suite Outlook, Word and especially Excel as well as knowledge CAD softwares.
  • Math Skills: Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.


  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction. Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks.


  • Interpersonal Skills: Must work well in a team environment and independently.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
