Advantage xPO is seeking new talent in Phoenix, AZ, and hiring an experienced Electrician for a leading
provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure. From corporate campuses to single sites, our client provides a range of services that support mission-critical areas of financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transportation, and education sectors. Pay: $36.50 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM, Monday-Friday

The Electrician troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and performs Preventative Maintenance on all electrical systems within the Medical campus.



  • Ensures that lighting throughout the campus is in working order through regular maintenance checks, replacement of defective parts, and repairs as required.
  • Performs the maintenance and repair of electrical switchgear distribution equipment and other electrical equipment by specifications.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on the campus-wide systems including (but not limited to) emergency power, lighting controls, mass notification, and fire alarm system.
  • Remain knowledgeable and proficient with the electrical distribution system for each building on the research campus. Create and maintain both single-line drawings and distribution maps for the electrical system.
  • Accomplishes work following blueprints and specifications, and national and local codes.
  • Maintains records of electrical preventive and corrective maintenance activities as required; performs corrective and preventive maintenance tests as necessary, according to department policies.
  • Installs wiring, switches, receptacles, and other electrical devices as assigned, per national electrical codes.
  • Complete Work Order and Preventative Maintenance paperwork in a timely and professional manner. Participates in the computerized maintenance management system for work and equipment documentation.
  • Attend weekly Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency.

Qualifications:



  • At least seven (7) years of experience as an Electrician in a Commercial setting (Experience in clinical-specific electrical systems, electrical switchgear, distribution equipment, and Generators is highly desirable).
  • A current valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work extended hours or weekend overtime as needed.
  • Be able to understand and implement national electrical codes, and life safety codes and fully comply with NFPA 70E Arc Flash Protection.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and crawl and lift 50 pounds.
