Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking summer 2025 interns for a unique opportunity with several Cranberry Township departments.
THOSE INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM MAY ONLY SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION TO ONE DEPARTMENT. Planning & Development Services manages sustainable development in Cranberry Township with the goal of enhancing the physical environment and improving the quality of life for all residents, commercial enterprises, and visitors. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, attending community and commission meetings, data entry, supporting land development reviews and applications procedures, and research on best practices. Space limitations due to Municipal Center renovations may eliminate this position opportunity. Confirmation will be provided during interviews. The program will run from approximately May 19, 2025, through August 8, 2025. While interns will spend most of their time with the department they were hired on with, this internship will include a variety of events and tours to allow interns to get a sense of the entire Township operation. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an educational institution. Students seeking an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a relevant major preferred. Approximate Hourly Wage: $13.00 Applications will be accepted through March 3, 2025, or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first. | |
