Brown and Caldwell has an exciting opportunity for a Reuse Area Practice Leader (APL) to help lead major projects and delivery exceptional services to our drinking water and reuse clients. The APL is responsible for driving the growth of their practice areas to advance the business unit's strategic goals. In this role, you will also be responsible for understanding the unique trends in your area and using that knowledge to create technical differentiation from that of our competitors while serving as an important conduit between the National Practice Leaders, Specialty Leaders, and the practice staff in the Business Unit. The Area Practice Leader role is designed to be coordinated with your other roles as Project Manager, Client Service Manager, or operations leader in the market. This position will report to the Regional Director of Technical Services. This position can be filled remotely, based near any of our Southeast offices, and with the ability to travel as needed to meet client and project commitments. Detailed Description: In this position, you will be help win and deliver drinking water and reuse projects in our Southeast Area and will be part of the Drinking Water and Reuse Practice's leadership team. This team is responsible for helping clients plan, design, construct, operate and optimize water treatment facilities and distribution systems. The Reuse team focuses on the additional treatment of municipal wastewater for non-potable or potable reuse applications and requires knowledge of reuse process engineering, reuse water quality regulations, policy, and contaminants of emerging concern (CECs). It includes both conventional and advanced treatment unit processes tied together to meet water quality objectives and regulatory compliance for the intended uses. There is collaboration with other practice areas and BC's Private Sector Water Clients which include industrial wastewater as a source of water or for industrial reuse applications.
