Job Description

As part of the Performance Nutrition Department, the Associate- Performance Nutrition will provide assistance to the Performance Nutrition staff with nutrition education, nutrition programing, along with a variety of other duties and responsibilities.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

    Assist with nutrition screenings, individual assessments, and provide nutrition counseling, including anthropometric and dietary analysis, meal planning and design, and maintaining nutrition care plans.
  • Provide support to the Coordinator in the delivery of nutrition education sessions and classes during Spring Training (Phoenix, AZ), and educate players following the Milwaukee Brewers nutrition curriculum at each affiliate location.
  • Assist with plate coaching and nutrition education of players during mealtimes during Spring Training and Affiliates.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nutrition counseling in professional baseball or related field. Master's degree in a related field preferred. RD certification is required. This position is based out of our Arizona Spring Training facility in Phoenix, AZ.

  • Gain hands-on application of Performance Nutrition principles, program design, and nutrition education.

  • Ability to work alongside all levels of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball player population.
  • Work in close proximity and partnership with our performance science department, rehabilitation team, and strength and conditioning leadership group.
