Description
Activities and Responsibilities: Identify & Investigate Quality Issues. Startup/Shutdown of equipment. Load and unload prior process. Ensures all required maintenance checks are performed. Performs minor machine troubleshooting and repairs. Write work orders and communicate with maintenance on machine problems. Ensure cleanliness of machines. Responsible for training TMB's which may require temporary split shift or off-shift assignment. Provides technical support in his/her processes. Complete all TMB's and TMA's duties during absence, vacations, lack of staffing etc. Assist in scheduling when required. Must not have any discipline higher than a verbal discipline. Starts machine and monitors displays and machine operation to detect malfunctions. Operate small equipment, including hand tools & fork trucks. Mounts, aligns, and secures tooling, attachments, and work piece on machine. Inspect and Advise bearings and bearing condition. Working knowledge of bearings, bearing types, and modes of damage. Inspect and Identify bearing damage and possible repair of. Measure and set BEP on tapered bearings. Assist inspectors with reports and damage analysis. Acquire technical knowledge of bearings. and all damage. Basic knowledge of heat treatment and the processes. Basic knowledge of steel and steel types in bearings. Basic knowledge of welding and welding processes used in bearings. Ability to assist in reporting to manager when RMA's or returned bearings are received. Work with Industry Specialists and Quality to complete analysis and reporting for damage modes. Education & Experience Requirements: "Meets all Expectations" or higher on last review Cannot be on any step of discipline 2% or less absenteeism at the time of promotion Must have passed the written test with a score of 75% or more for the area assigned.
