Job Description
ECU Department of ITCS Client Engagement and Support: Technology Support Center is currently seeking a Pirate Techs TSC Student Technician. The student technician is responsible for assisting ECU students, faculty, and staff with walk-in technology and Pirate ID account support. Our student techs provide assistance with installing/troubleshooting ECU-supported software, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, identifying and removing malware, connecting/troubleshooting access to ECU's wired and wireless networks, and Pirate ID / MFA support.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Experience with both Microsoft Windows 10/11 and macOS is preferred. Good customer service skills are preferred - comfortable working with others to resolve their technical problems. Student should be reliable, outgoing, a strong team player, motivated, and should be able to take direction.
