Pay: $31.00/hr 2nd Shift What We're Looking For: HS Diploma/certified technical school Graduate of a certified technical school with 10 or more years of related experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess a valid driver's license Universal Recovery Certification Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification Type I and Type II certifications Type I Small Appliances certification Type II High Pressure and Very High Pressure Appliances certification Type III Low Pressure Appliances certification Universal - Type I, II, and III certifications Fork truck and aerial lift equipment certification This is a direct hire position, and once you join our client's team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package! Your Role: As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Your daily tasks will include inspecting systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect malfunctions in system component parts. You will open valves on equipment such as compressors, pumps, and condensers to prepare the system for operation, and start equipment and auxiliary machinery. You'll start systems, observe operations, read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanisms such as actuators, valves, controls, and pumps to control system operation. Additionally, you will monitor the Energy Management System for alarms and out-of-spec situations, investigate and take appropriate actions.
