POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Communications Coordinator will provide essential support to the guidelines and mentoring programs. This role encompasses a variety of administrative, logistical, and operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of the programs. The coordinator will manage reimbursements, maintain budgets, track program documentation, coordinate meetings, and communicate with stakeholders in an effective and timely manner. This is a hybrid role based in Bethesda, MD and requires 2-3 days per week in the Bethesda office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate activities and projects related to clinical programs, ensuring alignment with Foundation goals and timelines.

  • Assist in the development, distribution, and tracking of program-related materials and communications.

  • Process reimbursements and honorarium, and maintain program budgets, ensuring accurate documentation, and adherence to financial protocols.

  • Organize and maintain programmatic files, including tracking key documents and maintaining up-to-date records.

  • Provide logistical support for meetings, training sessions, and events, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and follow-up.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among program participants, staff, external collaborators, and interested parties.

  • Support the creation and implementation of operational procedures to improve program efficiency.

  • Monitor and report on program metrics and deliverables.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience which may include internships. Experience in a medical field preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other data analysis software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to comprehend medical literature.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to the Senior Manager, Practice Guidelines. No direct reports.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.

  • No heavy lifting required.

  • Some travel may be required.

The hourly range is $55,000.00 to $59,400.00. Specific hourly range varies based on geographic location and is commensurate with experience.
