Job title: Legal Specialist - Records Retention Project

Duration: 4 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension/FTE

Location: Boston, MA 02111

Pay rate: $48.00 - $50.47 Hourly

JOB SUMMARY

Complete Description:

This will review stored MAPC files to analyze for retention vs. destruction.

They will create and maintain the inventory system for company records to identify, store, retrieve, and dispose of records according to policy.

There will be some additional general administration work (about 20% of the role).

At the end of the project they will also help construct a plan for document retention on how the agency should move forward.

Candidates for this role should have at least 2-3 years of experience in Massachusetts Public Records Retention Law for a government agency as well as knowledge of destruction schedules.
