Basic Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

As a Senior Manufacturing Operations Technician for General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) Precision Structures & Optics (PSO) located in Cullman, AL, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for performing hand deburring, lapping, and polishing operations to print specifications involving precision tolerances on Beryllium products for use in the most demanding applications, across the aerospace, defense, and nuclear industries. Our products are used in high performance sensing systems for targeting and acquisition, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, and are hardened for the battlefield environment.

  • Proficiency in the use of a variety of hand and power tools; able to utilize various equipment such as hones, pencil grinders, and lap plates
  • Ability to work from blueprints, advanced drawings, process sheets and sketches to perform hand deburring, lapping, and polishing operations with precision, quality, and safety
  • Experience and ability to routinely use a microscope
  • Manual dexterity; ability to use your hands to carry out a task skillfully and to a high level

Target salary range: USD $25.73/Hr. - USD $27.59/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
