Job Summary

Dorman is seeking a Team Coordinator to join our growing company. A Team Coordinator is an integral part of the organization, providing ongoing, foundational support to our engineering team members through the coordination of product samples and information management.This is a hybrid role in our corporate office in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) Monday through Thursday with the opportunity to work from home on Friday.

Primary Duties

  • Product sample ordering, shipping, and organization
  • Complete packaging inspections, product attributes, and data entry of various steps in the engineering process
  • Stage and organize approvedproducts for photo shoots
  • Ensure proper documentation is submitted with samples from suppliers
  • Organize and prepare part samples for Engineering review
  • Submit samples to the lab for testing and monitor progress through completion
  • Assist Engineering staff with testing and measurements
  • Assist Product Managers with collecting physical part information
  • Follow up, track, and document in support of the engineering team needs

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
  • Ability to use basic measurement tools such as calipers, tape measure, and a scale
  • Basic knowledge of automotiveparts is useful, but not required
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office tools-Particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience working within an engineering or quality control organization desirable, but not required
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 40 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one location to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
