In this role, your mission and responsibilities will be to:

TheGroup lead/supervisoris to optimize the operation of the Value Stream and the engagement of its personnel, drive operational excellence, and achieve the established goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory. Develop direct reports to ensure that their full potential is met through opportunity, education, training, etc. The Group Lead/Supervisor takes full responsibility for the success of the assigned value stream and is a member of the Operations Leadership Team. Specifically, you'll:




  • Understand the Value Stream (VS) products, customers, and manufacturing processes for the assigned VS.
  • Prioritize and promote safety in the assigned area, ensuring all new employees complete required safety training.
  • Build and lead a high-performance, self-directed VS team with strong morale and job satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement by educating associates in lean tools, techniques, and VS metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), use of day-by-hour charts, GEMBA boards.
  • Develop and execute plans for SQDC and operator skill levels, tracking progress through improvement boards and daily reports.
  • Conduct daily/weekly audits (5S, quality, system, process, ISO 9001, etc.) and ensure standard work instructions are followed.
  • Identify and resolve issues (systemic, product, process, quality) using A3 and countermeasure tools.
  • Collaborate with HR for employee selection, orientation, performance monitoring, coaching, and discipline.
  • Ensure productive daily team meetings and update improvement boards according to standard work.
  • Foster cross-VS/departmental collaboration for overall facility improvement.
  • Lead Future State VS implementation in the assigned area, including VS meetings, continuous improvement, VS mapping, supermarket setup, and pull system implementation.
  • Perform other duties as needed to meet customer and company quality and productivity goals, including monitoring and controlling special processes.



Experience and requirements:

You're a curious problem solver who can bring big ideas to life. You're creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You're agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we always deliver top-notch customer experiences. You also have:




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, technical, or supervisory role is required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and demonstrated decision-making skills are essential.
  • Effective interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Key attributes for this position include experienced leadership, an innovative mindset, and a self-starter attitude with a passion for implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

    Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficient computer skills, including MRP/ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
