Job Title: Systems Administrator Location: Dearborn, MI Responsible for administration of all corporate IT systems, including enterprise applications, databases, operating systems, enterprise hardware and facilities. Responsible for incident management of system and user generated events. Responsible for application component build and deployment. Important skills needed: Experience with ERP applications. Experience with SAP a plus. Understanding of software development process. Experience with writing and executing SQL statements. Experience with scripting languages such as BASH and JavaScript. Experience in a UNIX/Linux Environment working with distributions such as: RedHat, SUSE, HP-UX. 3 years' experience in the IT field, including experience as a Systems Administrator, or a technical support role supporting Systems administrators. Essential Functions: Provide event, incident, and problem management for IT systems. Installs, configures, and administers IT systems. Assists other team members in other areas as needed. Ensure that systems are compliant within required security standards and controls. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems. Liaise with vendors and other IT support personnel for problem resolution. Experience with Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP) applications. Develop and support automations and scripts (BASH, JavaScript, Java, Python) Participate in on-call rotation providing 24 X 7 support for critical systems operations (will require calling-in or being on-site after normal working hours).
