Pay:




  • Starting at $20.09-/hr,



  • Bi-weekly pay



  • $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates

Shifts:




  • Day shifts available



  • 12 hours shifts (6am-6pm)



  • Plant operates on various schedules (schedule assignment determined by candidate preference and plant needs):




    • Weekends: Friday - Sunday



    • Weekdays: Monday - Thursday



    • 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, Thurs Next week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat).

SCOPE:

This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be responsible for maintaining production operations and standards within their department including continuous improvement of operating results by meeting schedules, controlling costs, and inventory. Coordinates activities concerned with the production of company products by performing the following duties.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





  • Reviews, develops, and implements methods, SOP's, and reports to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.



  • Communicates with supervisor to establish production and quality control standards, obtains data regarding quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.



  • Promotes a team atmosphere, takes pride in workmanship, must be self-motivated, and provides timely and accurate work.



  • Communicates with associates on shift on an ongoing basis about the status of the shift



  • Follow all SOPs for production, shipping and receiving and sanitation



  • Monitor and assist Lead Supervisor with the following administrative activities




    • Pre-shift inspections



    • Shift reporting



    • Attendance tracking





  • Trains to fill in for some or all of other key positions on the shift. eg. PMO, Baker, Warehouse, Quality Technician, Sanitor.



  • Fills in for supervisors on same or other shifts when they are absent. In that capacity, temporarily assumes all responsibilities of supervisor except disciplinary.



  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned





QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS




  • 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training



  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.



  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals.



  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.





PREFERRED SKILLS:




  • Ability to lead employees in a fast-paced production atmosphere



  • Good time management skills



  • Organizational skills



  • Familiar with MS office
