STV Inc. is actively seeking a Civil/Highway Project Manager to join our Transportation group in Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment, collaborating with federal, state, and local transportation agencies.

As a Project Manager at STV, you will drive projects from initiation to completion, overseeing design, scheduling, cost estimating, and project execution while ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards. You will also play a key role in mentoring staff, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and engaging with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead highway and transportation design projects for state, county, and municipal agencies.

  • Oversee plan development, including horizontal and vertical alignment, cross sections, staging, traffic control, signing, and pavement marking plans.

  • Manage budget, schedule, and quality control to meet client expectations.

  • Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary liaison with agency stakeholders.

  • Support business development efforts, including capture planning, proposal writing, and strategic pursuits.

  • Work closely with internal teams to optimize resources, manage workloads, and foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required (Master's preferred).

  • Maryland PE license required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in highway design and transportation infrastructure projects.

  • Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment.

  • Familiarity with Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) standards and local agency processes is highly desirable.

Compensation Range:

$61,760.55 - $82,347.40
