Position description

Applications are invited for an appointment as Assistant Research Scientist in theoretical particle physics at the University of California, Irvine. The successful candidate will carry out independent research in areas related to theoretical particle physics and forward physics at colliders. Required qualifications include a record of research and scientific publications in particle physics. This is a non-tenure-track research position.

The appointment is expected to begin in Winter or Spring 2025, with a negotiable starting date. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics and at least three years of postdoctoral research experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
