Global Technology Solutions (GTS). GTS make efforts to digitally transform RTI. GTS provides technical support, resources and services to help staff work efficiently and effectively in compliance with RTI policies. GTS also aims to provide technology solutions to support the Institute's Business Units, General and Administrative functions. GTS finds innovative solutions to technological challenges.

Administers IT purchase and inventory system and management system. Updates and administers asset databases, tracking life cycle of all assets. Receives and manages inventory, ensures security of assets while in inventory. Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software license information and updates, and assists in developing enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards and procedures. Receives new equipment/software requests and monitors procurement and deployment activities. Verifies financial data (e.g., leased, depreciated or expensed), and monitors and reconciles changes in inventory and performs spot checks to ensure process and system quality.


Responsibilities

Onsite 5 days a week.

  • Receipt of corporate technology assets (hardware, software, services)
  • Review and verify purchase requisitions.
  • Properly stock ITAM Warehouse and update IT Asset Management databases.
  • Monthly physical evaluation of corporate technology assets.
  • Works closely with Support Services Management to meet quarterly goals.
  • Facilitate retirement and disposal of RTI corporate technology systems.
  • Facilitate Return Merchandise Authorizations and Materials discrepancy reports for defective or unwanted technology assets.
  • Call in warranty repairs, understand functionality issues and technical terms.
  • Pre-image upgrades of memory, hard drives and devices.
  • Apply technical knowledge and understanding to image corporate systems.
  • Assists maintain PC loaner Pool
  • Assists provide hardware and software reports where needed
  • Assists maintain Software & Hardware Technology Life Cycle Reports along with RTI
  • Standard Equipment List
  • Create Standard and Technical operating Procedures as needed.
  • Complete other functions relating to ITAM as needed.

Qualifications

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for visa employment status.

High School Diploma and 4 years of related experience or
Associate's Degree and 0 years of experience or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
