Reporting to the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine leadership within the Department of Internal Medicine, the Associate Project Manager oversees the division's community outreach and education programs. This role provides comprehensive project management for both Continuing Medical Education (CME) and non-CME programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and fiscal budgets. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of educational conferences, seminars, and events, from initial planning to post-event evaluation, including strategic planning, logistical coordination, and securing external funding.

The Associate Project Manager develops business plans and budgets for events, prepares and submits CME Category I applications in accordance with CCME requirements, and serves as the primary liaison for course directors, speakers, and attendees. They lead strategic planning discussions to establish the divisions involvement in educational initiatives, develop detailed event overviews outlining goals and specifications, and oversee on-site management of events, ensuring seamless execution.

Additionally, this role manages the divisions marketing and communication needs in collaboration with the OSUMC marketing team, faculty, staff, and community groups. They design and implement evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of programs, analyze outcomes, and champion improvements. The Associate Project Manager also facilitates the creation and maintenance of program materials, ensuring alignment with the division's objectives and maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience required; experience in program planning and administration required; experience using Microsoft programs and databases desired. Requires successful completion of a background check.
