The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Talent Management Consultant to drive and support key initiatives within AspenTech's talent management strategy. This highly visible role will focus on managing the annual talent cycles, partnering closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to ensure a seamless and impactful roll-out of talent processes. The role will also maintain and optimize systems to ensure data integrity and alignment with organizational objectives, leveraging insights to continuously enhance our talent strategies. Your Impact
  • Project Management of Talent Cycles:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of annual talent management cycles, including performance reviews, succession planning, and talent assessments.
  • Develop project timelines, deliverables, and communication strategies to ensure smooth and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, provide updates, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Training & Support for HR Business Partners:
  • Design and deliver training programs and resources for HRBPs to ensure they understand and can effectively execute their roles in talent processes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for HRBPs, offering guidance and troubleshooting support as needed throughout talent cycle roll-outs.
  • Facilitate workshops and one-on-one sessions to enhance the capability of HRBPs in talent management practices.
  • System Maintenance & Data Accuracy:
  • Oversee the configuration and updates of talent management systems to ensure they reflect current processes and organizational structures.
  • Ensure data integrity within systems, working closely with HRIS teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Produce and analyze reports on talent metrics and progress, providing insights to senior leadership on trends and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance talent processes, leveraging feedback and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to recommend innovative approaches to talent management.
  • Partner with the broader HR team to align talent initiatives with overall organizational goals and strategy.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent management, organizational development, or HR consulting.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of managing complex initiatives.
  • Experience with HRIS or talent management modules within HCM (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to train and influence HRBPs and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
