Description
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will have overall fiscal responsibility for eMoney Advisor. In addition, this role is responsible for the management of Accounting, Facilities, Finance, ePMO and legal teams. This position has multiple lines of accountability. Primary responsibility is to the eMoney leadership team, but also has accountability to Fidelity leadership teams across Devonshire Investments, Fidelity Wealth Technology and ultimately the eMoney Board. Success in this role requires close collaboration with multiple business partners that expand all areas of accountability. Responsibilities: A brief description of each area of focus follows below:
- Finance, Strategy and Planning:This includes a range of support for the senior team within eMoney Advisor, including financial planning/analysis, enterprise program management, strategy development and planning, market, customer and competitor assessment, financial modeling, scenario planning and business performance analysis. In addition, this team has responsibility for designing, maintaining and managing effective governance and decision-making processes for eMoney's strategic investments, designing, maintaining and management of KPI reporting and decision-support related activities as well as the delivery of accurate, high quality and actionable financial information.
- Accounting/Billing: area of focus includes managing and implementing all necessary financial/accounting policies and procedures resulting in accurate and timely delivery of full cycle financial statements, lead for all audit activities both internal and external, payroll, billing operations and contract maintenance operations for eMoney Advisor.
- Facilities Management: The Facilities Management team is responsible forthe operational readiness, development and physical management of all eMoney's facilities. The team leads efforts focused on ensuring effective and efficient operations within all eMoney facilities by planning and implementing building-related services as well as creating and or editing policies and procedures. Specific duties include overseeing space planning initiatives, capital improvements, and growth initiatives. Responsible for the overall facilities budget inclusive of office supplies, snack system, utilities, and other miscellaneous facilities related spend.
- Legal: Legal oversees all legal affairs of the company, including the structuring and negotiation of eMoney's transactions, intellectual property protection, litigation matters, data privacy issues and support of internal policies. This role also provides strategic legal vision, expertise and partnership to various corporate functions covering broad functional areas. Head of Finance would oversee the team that is directly leading on high profile initiatives.
- ePMO:This team is responsible for the management of projects/launches across the org. Required a high level of cross functional collaboration, attention to detail and prioritization.
- General
- Determine and set financial goals and objectives of the company consistent with eMoney Board expectations and aligned with organization incentive programs (i.e. LTIP, Annual Bonus)
- Oversee multi-year strategic plan development for eMoney Advisor resulting in agreed upon top line growth year over year with continued focus on growth and expansion of product line, as well as profitability
- Oversee and ensure operational and organizational readiness for eMoney Advisor to achieve all top line goals through alignment of strategic objectives across the organization and timely, accurate and actionable views providing insight into goals
- Oversee policies and procedures to drive and deliver a culture focused on disciplined expense management ultimately delivering results aligned with plan
- Ensure overall economic stability and health of the organization
- Oversee and ensure cadence of CLT offsites in preparation for board meetings and updates to overall strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required
- MBA a plus
- 15+ years of experience required, in a software development environment and / or financial services industry experience a plus

The salary range for this position is $240,000 - $346,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
