Join Industrial Flow North America as a Lead System Design Engineer where you will Develop and design engineering documentation including but not limited to general arrangement layout, P&ID, assembly drawings, fabrication/machining drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and 3-D solid models using Solid Edge and AutoCAD. Responsibilities include:



  • Assist in the design and development of new packaged products
  • Create models and drawings of products using CAD
  • Research new product ideas and methods
  • Improve existing products and processes
  • Ensure compliance with the industry's safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of designs
  • Ensure products are user and environment friendly
  • Find creative design solutions to problems



To succeed, you need



  • Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design with packaged pumping skids.
  • Basic understanding of pumping system fundamentals
  • Experience using CAD software to perform design analysis of structural and support members
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in packaged equipment layout and design, including but not limited to, pumps, piping, electrical, instrumentation and structural.
  • Ability to prioritize and make self-directed decisions, multi-task, and function effectively under frequent deadlines.
  • Direct experience in layout and design of packaged equipment for the oil & gas industry is preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Excellent personal organization and communication skills. Must have the ability to clearly communicate verbally to customers and vendors.
  • Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design.
  • Great computational and spatial ability.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry design principles.
  • Dealing with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • Developing effective working relationships with peers so as to work as a team
