The function of this position is: To work as a team member to operate various can lines as well as their associated casers and depalletizers in a safe and productive manner. Maintain all required paperwork including but not limited to quality checks, production reports, and inventory documentation. To perform and understand quality checks and associated paper work in accordance with the Nestle QMS. To maintain general housekeeping and food safety related sanitation. To learn and adhere to good manufacturing practices. To support and contribute to a continuous improvement culture. Complete and understand all inventory transactions required for the position. To understand and follow the Waverly Norms.Supply machine centers with packaging and raw materials. Inspect the materials before using verify the correct material is being used with the correct raw ingredient to meet our CCP requirements. Rejects any damaged or deficient materials not meeting our specification. Maintain a food factory level of sanitation. Communicate with operators, mechanics, and management. Duties:
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired. Previous experience in a foodmanufacturing environment strongly preferred. Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures. Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis. Willing and able towork overtime. Willing and able to work various shifts. Able to lift up to 50pounds.
