Job Description Summary

The compliance program manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of AAM's global compliance strategy.

Job Description

Responsible for compliance program development and monitoring in areas including, but not limited to

  • Code of Conduct
  • FCPA / Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
  • Anti-Competition
  • Conflicts of Interest
  • Data Privacy / GDPR
  • Third-Party Risk Management
  • Training and Communications
  • Internal Investigations.

This position will support the compliance program self-assessment, compliance risk mapping & control identification, as well as continuous improvement protocol to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Compliance Program.

Required Skills and Education

  • Law degree not required (Bachelors Degree required)
  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance and ethics at a global/multi-national company
  • 1+ year of experience in industrial manufacturing or automotive

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with internal investigations
  • Experience with GDPR/Data Privacy
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills / EQ
  • Ability to travel
