Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Program Assistant 4 for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

Position Overview:

  • Leslie DeChurch, Professor and Department Chair at Northwestern University, is seeking a highly professional and organized Executive Administrative Assistant (Temporary) to provide comprehensive administrative support. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing daily operations, maintaining a complex schedule, coordinating academic programs, and handling correspondence with efficiency and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Management, Correspondence, Event Coordination, Financial Administration, Document and File Management, & General Administrative Support

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in an administrative assistant role, ideally in an academic or professional environment, Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; strong attention to detail; professional written and verbal communication skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and calendaring tools, High level of professionalism, discretion, and initiative. Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
