How You'll Make an Impact:

As ABC's Fleet/Facilities Manager, you will oversee and maintain the organization's facilities and fleet of cars, trucks, and specialized vehicles for the San Antonio Branch.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
• Minimum of five years experience in fleet maintenance or repair with two years in a supervisory role required.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of fleet management and operations.
• Knowledge and understanding of facilities maintenance and repair.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to access and navigate fleet parking lot and maintenance facilities.
• Some travel may be required.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and adhere to a budget and to monitor and reduce expenses.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

What You'll Do:

• Oversees or delegates responsibility for the day-to-day workflow of the department and staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Develops schedules and procedures for and ensures adherence to routine maintenance and non-routine repair of all vehicles in the company's fleet.
• Collaborates with supervisors and staff to manage and reduce expenses such as fuel and repair costs.
• Maintains and organizes the fleet list which includes who operates each vehicle
• Facilitates and coordinates transfer of driver from one vehicle to another when necessary.
• Establishes a schedule for recommended replacement of fleet vehicles.
• Drafts and presents reports on department operations and expenses.
• Develops and enforces procedures, policies, and safety protocols for all fleet services staff.
• Maintains the building's cleanliness and perform or coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain the back lot in an organized manner and coordinate schedules for waste pick up and disposal.
• Performs other related duties as required.
