Description The Data Center Services team strives to provide an efficient, risk-driven approach to managing the raised floor area of the Data Center. These services include managing assets throughout their life cycle, data destruction, and ensuring appropriate physical and logical security for vendors within the environment. The work environment is hands-on, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented where adaptability is key to our success as a team, thus having depth knowledge of working in large-scale Data Center environments is critical. The individual will be responsible for managing the inventory and assets in our Data Center in accordance with the standard policies and procedures designated by the group. This individual will play a key role in ensuring our Data Center inventory is up-to-date and accurate. Top Skills: -Attention to detail -Cable Installation (In a Datacenter) -Experience in ServiceNow, ServiceNow ATF, ITSM -Analytical and Problem Solving Skills Preferred Skills: -Experience in shipping materials and asset management This position is 100% onsite (M-F) at the Milwaukee office - NO REMOTE WORK. Skills Data center, Cable, Rack and stack, Cabling, Hardware, Hardware troubleshooting, Stacking, Data center maintenance, servicenow, Troubleshooting, Cat6, Cat5, Infrastructure, Data Additional Skills & Qualifications Job Responsibilities: Gathering inventory and shipping Network equipment to Field Offices. Decommission returned hardware Providing 'remote-hands' support to data center customers. Respond to and resolve support tickets in the system Provide Level-one Network support oTesting Fiber and copper cables oCleaning Fiber and copper cables oCleaning and replacing SFPs if needed Installation and maintenance of the structured cabling system. Maintain inventory of fiber and copper cabling oQuote and order additional materials as needed oQuote and order materials to build out additional Data Center capacity Rack & stack of IT hardware. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
