Job Location: Atlantic Council Headquarters - Washington, DC Overview The Atlantic Council seeks a creative, motivated, and hard-working program assistant to support the administrative and programmatic activities in the fluid environment of the Women Innovators (WIn) Fellowship. The ideal candidate will have an interest in international business, entrepreneurship, and women's economic empowerment. The program assistant will work closely with the Assistant Director and Associate Director of the WIn Fellowship on all aspects of day-to- day program management. The ideal candidate will be remarkably well-organized and detail-oriented and will have demonstrable administrative experience, communication experience and experience in event execution and logistics. The program assistant will manage meetings and arrange travel logistics for the WIn Fellowship team, support the planning and execution of events, support the recruitment of fellows, draft social media content, update the WIn Fellowship webpage, manage and liaise with internal and external contacts, draft weekly activity reports and maintain team files, among other responsibilities. The candidate will also be encouraged to engage in their own research and publishing. A successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, communicate effectively, and proactively seek out opportunities for growth. The position requires a superior ability to multitask with demonstrable experience in coordinating multiple projects and events, excellent administrative skills, exceptional writing ability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Experience living, studying or working in the Middle East region and proficiency in Arabic are a plus. This position is based in our Washington, DC, headquarters, requiring a minimum of 4 days per week in office. The Atlantic Council offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, education, and organizational equity, with offers from $53,000 to $59,000.
