Final Inspector Sr. - Return to Service (RTS) - 2nd Shift
**This position will be on 3rd shift hours, Sunday night - Thursday night 10pm - 6am**
Position Summary:
This position is a Final Inspector with Return to Service authorization to inspect and determine airworthiness of articles in accordance with site, Federal Aviation Administration, European and other applicable regulatory agencies procedures.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by the applicable specifications.
- Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection and/or calibration of parts. Identify defective conditions and test failures and prepare all appropriate documentation and/or calibration history.
- Review and assess accuracy of maintenance records as objective evidence or work performed.
- Perform inspection on detailed machined parts using a wide variety of measuring and test equipment to determine acceptability or rejections of parts and/or parts finish.
- Interpret specifications, charts and manuals. Use mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and tolerances. Work within the guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, route sheets, travelers, quality directives, technical engineering specifications, customer's requirements and military standards and/or calibrations procedures.

- Observe and perform audits of a moderate scope or complexity on assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- 18 months related manufacturing experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
- Repairman certificate required or eligible
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures.
- Ability to use and/or calibrate mechanical, hydraulic and electrical instruments/gages
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
- Require CMM training to prepare 8130's.
