Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is recruiting for the position of Employee Engagement Coordinator. Primary Function: coordinate a variety of already developed reward and recognition programs and other initiatives all aimed at fostering employee engagement and creating a positive work experience and environment. Provide administrative support to maintain multiple databases to track progress & develop insights to employee engagement practices. This position reports to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer and collaborates with the HR Team, Marketing and Communications Team, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) & Employee Committees.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer and others as appropriate to assist with design, implementation, and support a comprehensive suite of reward, recognition, resilience, and other programs that foster employee engagement and enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring the timely and successful implementation of initiatives and programs.
  • Implement employee feedback mechanisms, including surveys, branch/department visits, and "townhalls" ensuring that communication moves in multiple directions and that all employees have accessible and convenient forums for sharing feedback.
  • Responsible for engagement & administrative functions on the HVSeeU Employee Experience, Recognition and Rewards Platform.
  • Analyze feedback data and develops clear, well-organized, and meaningful reports and presentations that identify trends and areas for improvement in employee engagement initiatives.
  • Work with the internal communication/marketing team to develop communication materials to promote employee engagement programs and initiatives.
  • In collaboration with the DEI officer, designs and conducts training sessions and workshops to educate employees and managers on the importance of employee engagement and recognition.
  • Contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of employee engagement programs. Track and analyze relevant metrics to assess program impact and makes data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate ongoing reward and recognition programs/events that are timely and successful.
  • Assist with a variety of other related projects and duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Embrace and apply HVCU's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities.   • Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related field
  • Minimum 3 Years Developing and implementing complex, multi-faceted project plans, required
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, required
  • A track record of exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, required
  • Must be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), required
