Drive Sales Growth & Lead a High-Performing Team

Are you passionate about coaching and developing sales teams? As the Inside Sales Supervisor, you will oversee, train, and mentor our domestic Inside Sales Representatives to enhance their sales skills and drive business growth. You'll work closely with the Manager of USA Sales to implement effective sales strategies and ensure exceptional customer service.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate inside sales representatives, ensuring optimal team performance in heavy equipment and parts sales.

  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including managing schedules, approving payroll, coordinating time-off requests, and optimizing team productivity.

  • Drive revenue growth by setting sales targets, coaching team members, and providing continuous development in product knowledge and industry trends.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service by overseeing phone coverage, responding to escalated customer inquiries, and resolving issues related to parts orders, shipments, and claims.

  • Monitor and review sales calls, offering constructive feedback to enhance communication and closing techniques.

  • Develop future leaders by mentoring team members for career growth within TVH or other areas of the company.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliance with company policies and assist with performance management when necessary.

  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new sales representatives to build a strong and knowledgeable team.

  • Identify training opportunities and implement development programs focused on heavy equipment parts, aftermarket solutions, and sales strategies.

  • Establish performance expectations for outbound call volume, response times, and customer engagement to maximize sales effectiveness.

  • Foster a high-energy, collaborative team culture by conducting one-on-one meetings, recognizing achievements, and providing continuous support.

  • Work closely with sales management and IT to improve ERP system functionality and enhance sales processes.

  • Develop contingency plans to ensure seamless customer service and sales operations.

HOW TO SUCCEED

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment rental, or industrial parts sales.

  • At least 2 years of experience leading and managing inside sales teams in a B2B environment.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and customer relationship management skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • A proven ability to drive sales performance, develop talent, and optimize sales processes.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven business decisions.

  • A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with a strong commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Willingness to travel domestically (up to 10%) for team development and industry-related events.
