Position Summary

The Consumer Control and Testing Manager oversees the testing, monitoring and evaluation of controls related to compliance, risk management and operational processes for Consumer Banking including Retail branches & Customer Care. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments on various consumer banking activities looking for potential operational risk.
  • Help create and implement effective control testing used by the compliance testing teams.
  • Prepare for regulatory exams by keeping all records, controls and procedures used in testing.
  • Manage and coach team to ensure tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete testing reports used by senior leadership and branch reporting.
  • Test key areas within consumer banking to determine if they are a high fraud risk item and give recommendations on findings.
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to:
  • Ability to manage multiple testing projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in leading team and providing guidance and coaching.
Education and Training:
  • 3-5 years of consumer banking experience required.
  • Associate degree required in related field; higher degree preferred
  • Requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Benefits and Compensation

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $54,000 - $72,000/year)
