Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Mid Kansas Ear, Nose, and Throat (East and West location)
Job Type: Full-Time Qualifications: Education and Licensing:
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
Valid Kansas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Additional certifications and experience (e.g., FEES, McNeil Dysphagia Therapy, Nasometer experience, flexible and rigid videostroboscopy experience, LSVT Loud certification, etc.) are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Speech-Language Pathology, particularly in a clinical or medical setting.
Experience in assessment and treatment of voice and dysphagia disorders is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for voice and swallowing disorders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment while maintaining high standards of care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage patients and their families in treatment plans.
Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare providers.
Strong understanding of ENT-related conditions, such as voice disorders, dysphagia, and speech-language issues stemming from ear, nose, and throat conditions preferred.
Proficient in performing assessments such as videostroboscopy, flexible endoscopic evaluation, and flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing preferred
