About the Role Redhorse Corporation is transforming how the government uses data and technology. We're seeking a Junior Engineer to join our team supporting critical government initiatives. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of mission-critical systems by performing Level 1 restoration tasks. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our projects and enhance the way our government clients leverage data and technology. Key Responsibilities: Perform Level 1 restoration of systems and applications, following documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Utilize Confluence sites and history tickets to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to ensure successful project completion. Document resolution steps and contribute to improving internal processes. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our clients' data and technology infrastructure. Maintain meticulous records and reporting on all activities undertaken. Required Experience/Clearance: Minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience OR a BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field. Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance with a completed polygraph is required. Desired Experience: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., DataBricks). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab). Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira). Experience with big data processing technologies (e.g., Spark). Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic government environment.
