Senior Security Governance coordinates all key security department activities such as staffing, financial management, reporting, training, awareness and security communications. Provides project management support and prepares senior management presentations. Understands priorities, operating policies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate organizational decision-making occurs and practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Engagement & Awareness: Support the execution of key communication and engagement initiatives, including All Hands meetings, Weekly Directs, leadership off-sites, community events, and the annual Security Awareness Training.
  • Security Culture & Training: Assist in implementing training and awareness programs aimed at fostering a strong security first mindset across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support intra departmental and cross functional teams focused on security budgeting, annual planning, communications, and people culture.
  • Executive Communications: Assist in the development and support of internal executive messaging and presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews, governance meetings, business updates, Teams Channel posts, and the Monthly Newsletter.
  • Project Monitoring: Track and report on cross-functional projects to ensure timely delivery of key objectives.
  • Strategic Reporting: Create aggregated reporting and messaging around core strategic security focus areas to support transparency and alignment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field;
  • At least 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related areas. The right candidate could also have a different combination such as a Master's degree plus 4 years of experience or PhD and 1 year experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in executive/leadership communications and business reporting, translating strategies to execution plans
  • Excellent writing skills, ability to "storyboard" and develop visually compelling presentations with clear logic and structure
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented; proficient in managing competing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills, including creative thinking and willingness to work hands-on to deliver impactful outcomes


USD 99,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
