Senior Program Manager (Hybrid)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Program Manager with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.

Location: Irving TX, Tampa FL, Basking Bridge NJ, Alpharetta GA.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until February 22nd, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $102,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Define and refine finance models and governance for key portfolios, including budget/resource management and cost optimization.
  • Facilitate headcount and budget finalization, change control, budget reduction, and expense reduction exercises.
  • Execute strategic workforce strategies to achieve portfolio objectives.
  • Manage vendor governance, including contingent labor ramp-up, invoicing, contract extensions, and collaboration with finance teams.
  • Track and analyze key insights from vendor meetings and provide feedback to stakeholders.
  • Drive employee enablement and engagement initiatives to enhance overall employee experience.
  • Program manage executive reviews and internal engagement events.
  • Facilitate branding and communication efforts to instill pride and loyalty in employees.
  • Promote innovation culture and support events like hackathons.
  • Provide executive summaries with portfolio data analysis and insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Program management/ITIL certifications.
  • Expertise in portfolio budget and finance management and tracking.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and methods.
  • Proficiency in productivity and program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Clarity, G Suite, Slack).
  • Strong change champion and culture catalyst.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal IT leaders, business leaders, and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Verizon experience is a must.
