We have an exciting opportunity to join our team. Geographically, the primary focus is within Florida but may expand to additional states within the McKim and Creed footprint.

YOUR DAY-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:



  • Coordinate with utility companies to identify and resolve utility conflicts in project designs.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling utility relocations to align with construction timelines.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and utility providers to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and review utility agreements, relocation plans, and permits.
  • Conduct field visits to verify the accuracy of utility locations and address on-site challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of utility coordination activities, including correspondence, agreements, and approvals.
  • Support the project team by identifying potential utility impacts and proposing solutions.
  • Monitor utility relocation progress and budgets to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on utility coordination status and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing utility work.


WHAT YOU NEED:



  • H.S. diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in utility coordination, construction management, or civil engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The ability to balance multiple work assignments on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Familiarity of utility systems, including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecommunications.
  • Understanding of utility design, relocation processes, and permitting requirements.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.


WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:



  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar.
  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure and design-build projects.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD Civil3D and Microstation ORD.
