Molex is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our New Product Development Sourcing Team for the DataCom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) division. This role will support the sourcing activities for the assigned product development projects across different business units in DSS. During the project(s) development you will work with Global and Regional Category Management teams to execute sourcing and supplier strategies. The role will provide you the opportunity to build up the knowledge of the world-class procurement organization and set for the path to outstanding procurement professionals.

This role will be in Lisle, IL (Hybrid).

Our Team

Our team: The New Product Development Sourcing teams in DataCom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) division, Global and Regional Category Management teams, SQE etc., external suppliers and subcontractors etc.

Project stakeholders: Product Development Engineering team, PM, MIE and Quality etc. from BU and Operation teams at multiple-locations.

What You Will Do
* Maintain strong working relationships and communication with internal partners and suppliers.
* Work closely with NPD Sourcing Engineers to ensure all KPI's are documented per program requirements.
* Utilize Molex/Koch's tools, processes and platforms to document, track and store critical projects information.
* Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking additional duties assigned by leadership as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of experience working in procurement, material planning, production planning, or supply chain management.
* Strong written and oral communication skills required.
* Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead
* Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs.
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast moving and changing environment.
* Strong skills in data analysis using MS Office products.
* Experience with SAP or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, managing bill of materials and purchase orders.

For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000 to $85,000 per year. The role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
