Position Description Performs a variety of warehouse duties related to shipping and receiving including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping, computer operation, scanning equipment, and material handling. Supports the incoming and outgoing of materials, including preparing and/or maintaining any required documents. Job Responsibilities Selects, prepares, and packs parts for shipment utilizing the appropriate shipping method. Handles all related paperwork or documents, recording or verifying pertinent information for domestic or international shipping. Determines method of shipment, utilizing required shipping software, and knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Processes reports related to shipping including work orders, packing lists, pick lists, bills of lading, customer pick tickets, and related information. Audits shipments prior to loading the truck verifying the load against the customer order. Ensures that all transactions have been entered in the system. May assist in ensuring inventory accuracy by investigating and correcting variances through cycle counting Performs other duties as assigned Job Skills Requirements Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pay close attention to detail Ability to become forklift certified & operate forklift Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to read and interpret all documents required for shipping processes Computer skills including ability to use shipping software such as UPS Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education High School diploma Experience Requirements No exeperience required Physical & Environmental Requirements Some physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material, may be required to lift up to 70lbs. Generally good working conditions.
