Unit Manager-Student Health Services Lubbock 39976BR Position Description Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff. Major/Essential Functions Responsible for Department of Family Medicine (including Student Health Services) staff personnel files, preparation of ePaf's, leave applications, orientation schedules, etc. HR related duties such as Job Postings, Hiring Processes. Bi-weekly & Monthly payrolls for Department of Family Medicine (including Student Health Services). Audits employee leave balances monthly -- vacation, sick leave, etc. Completes all third party time entry (TimeClock plus) processes for hourly employees of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, including Student Health Services. Reports building maintenance and custodial issues to appropriate TTU department for the Student Wellness Center. Maintains Outlook Calendar for Department Administrator and Student Health Services Meeting Rooms (3). Travel applications, travel advances, and travel vouchers for all Student Health Services staff. Compilation of Monthly Productivity Report for Student Health Services. Balances Cash and Submits Deposits for Student Health Services. Incoming / Outgoing Mail Distribution in Student Health Services. Credentialing/Licensing upkeep & assistance. Building Emergency Manager responsibilities pertaining to Safety Services. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
