VNE, LLC is looking for 6 TS/SCI Cleared Logistician IV

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree

Experience:

• Ten (10) years with Master's or 14 years with Bachelor's degree of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.
• Experience shall include at least six (6) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.
• Experience supervising Logistics Specialists.
• Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
• Proficient at utilizing operational inventory management software tools to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate and automated reports.
• They will also automate logistic reporting as necessary using these software suites to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring.
• TS/SCI level Clearance required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Advanced/Level 3; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional three (3) year (i.e., total 13 years minimum experience with Master's or 17 years with Bachelor's degree) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.

Job Description:

Logisticians integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments. Logisticians are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. The Logistician prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. It is the Logistician's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Essential Duties of the Job:

• Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
• Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
• Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
• Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
• Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

• While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
