What to Expect?

The Software QA Analyst II is responsible for executing testing procedures to ensure software meets established quality standards and performance specifications. This role reviews and understands software requirements, specifications, and design documents, verifying they are clear, consistent, and testable, as well as, provides technical leadership on complex projects and mentors team members as needed.

On a daily basis our Software QA Analyst II:

  • Executes quality improvement testing and activities across multiple systems and environments.

  • Ensures products meet design requirements using industry recognized quality and safety standards.

  • Prepares and reviews test strategies, plans, suites, and cases.

  • Isolates, reproduces, tracks defects, and verify fixes.

  • Identifies risks, quality issues, and errors in complex multi-component systems.

  • Provides reporting on defect tracking and escalate technical issues as needed.

  • Investigates customer problems referred to QA by the technical support team.

  • Designs and builds test scenarios and acceptance tests across complex systems and multiple components.

  • Develops and enhances the test infrastructure and CICD frameworks used across teams.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • A bachelor's degree in software engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 4+ years hands-on software test design and software testing.

  • Strong knowledge of software development and test methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

  • Effective working independently and in an Agile scrum environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL for analysis, reporting, and data correlation.

  • Experience testing SOAP and REST web services using tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
