The LPN is responsible for rendering nursing care in assigned area in terms of individualized patient needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures and established standards based on scope of practical nursing.

This position is 12 hours, Dayshift, Working 7am to 730pm or nights working 7pm to 730am



  1. The LPN is responsible for rendering nursing care in an assigned area in terms of individualized patient needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures and established standards based on scope of practical nursing.
  2. Demonstrates nursing knowledge commensurate with licensure scope of practice.
  3. Provide patient care services for patients under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager.

  4. Must provide documentation of a current physical examination and tuberculosis test prior to beginning employment; and TB test annually thereafter.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:

    Valid Michigan LPN license, 1-2 years' experience in behavioral health or residential treatment program.
