The Blueprint (Role Profile) The Cycle Count Team Lead is responsible for the performance of the cycle count team and maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. The Cycle Count Team Lead will also monitor inventory levels and product management of inventory counts. This position will also release trimester inventory counts to ensure we count every location within the period. This position will control/isolate non-conforming product as defined by work instructions. The Build (Responsibilities) Train new team members on proper procedures Track productivity and accuracy rates of cycle counters Release trimester counts by locations to ensure we have required counts on the floor consistently Review cycle count inventory adjustments for outstanding items on specified reports Research items as required which may require working with other departmental leads to identify root cause Provide assistance to Replenishment Lead Investigate inventory errors and discrepancies to identify root cause; report root cause issues and make recommendations in a timely manner Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy Monitor and control inventory integrity by troubleshooting and/or identifying potential inventory outside the respective designated areas Audit counts and recounts on exception reports, close batches daily Perform inventory adjustments to provide accurate data Report all results to the Cycle Count owner Follow safety regulations Perform other related duties as required or directed Work closely with the training lead to ensure team is following SOPs The Toolbox (Qualifications) Forklift and/or pallet jack operation experience One year of inventory control experience / root cause analysis Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Familiar with warehouse management software / RF Gun Perform basic mathematics in routine calculations High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
