ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework. Some test and repair of various electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
* Advanced electrical wiring and assembly of components. * Assembles wire harness, electronic components, and subassemblies. * Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. * Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and wire lists. * Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies. * Uses tools to perform required tasks, i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, calipers, crimpers, etc. * Performs other duties as assigned.

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. * Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and cleaning chemicals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Assemble wire harness by following drawings, Blue Folders, and work instructions. Following assembly procedures and documenting all work. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
* Ability to speak and understand English as it relates to understanding direction from Production Supervisor and performing given task. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Skill to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. * Ability to use as-needed mathematical concepts. * Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments with little or no rework.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and applicable experience and demonstration of ability to understand and perform assigned tasks. * Previous wire harness manufacturing experience is required.
