Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week) Job Description: The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between business/product analysts, software development teams, and individual business units to understand how requests will affect business processes and applications. Responsibilities: * Participate and collaborate on an Agile development team. * Understand the overall business flow by working with Product Owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and business teams on a regular basis. * Define improvements to business processes and products. * Assist decision-makers in gathering information to make informed decisions. * Collaborate with Product Owners and Quality Assurance (QA) to identify and write detailed requirements of test cases, creating and maintaining business and product artifacts. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent. * Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). * Understanding of insurance coverages, rating schemes, and insurance products. Who would excel in this role? * Knowledge of property casualty rating and policy coverages and endorsements. * Experience with business analysis or project management. * Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally. * SQL knowledge. * Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization and individuals outside of the organization, including vendors.
