Hematology & Oncology Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

The Columbia University Medical Center, Division of Hematology & Oncology in the Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty physician for the role of Director of Hepatobiliary Cancers in the Division of Hematology-Oncology, and Director for Liver Transplant Oncology. This is a joint faculty appointment at the rank of Professor, jointly within Hematology-Oncology Division in the Department of Medicine and the Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation within the Division of Abdominal Organ Transplant in the Department of Surgery.

This faculty attending position is expected to participate in the educational, research, and other academic service programs along with clinical activities in the Division of Hematology & Oncology. The principal responsibilities will be to strengthen the clinical and translational Hepatobiliary Cancer Program and oversee clinical and translational research in hepatocellular carcinoma.

This faculty attending position includes direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching and supervision of Fellows, Residents, Medical Students, scholarly work, and clinical leadership within the program.


Qualifications

Minimum Degree: M.D. or equivalent medical Professional degree

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, or/and Internal Medicine, with a valid New York State License. Hematology/Oncology fellowship training. Exemplary communication and leadership skills.
