Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant supervisory experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position The MUOS Technical Task Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engineering development tasks for a development team responsible for specific system functions within a Satellite Communications Ground System. This position will require experience and expertise to effectively lead, track and manage the technical and execution aspects of a moderately large (15-25 person) Engineering Team's development efforts. This position would also benefit from experience and versatility outside of traditional leadership roles that can contribute across other development teams and in other areas of the overall program leadership. It is expected that this position would be able to successfully demonstrate excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills in support of team members and peer leaders. Given that this is a leadership position for an engineering team, an engineering degree is preferred. Duties and Tasks:

Target salary range: USD $124,302.00/Yr. - USD $137,898.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
