Summary:

Develops clear-written materials to support product development activities such as operations, maintenance or repair manuals, tutorials, specifications and help systems | Interviews technical staff to collect product information and specifications | Collects and organizes technical information and product images and coordinates layout for publication | Adheres to agreed terminology, style and editorial quality standard.



Major Position Responsibilities

    Supports engineering, technology, production, or research departments by collecting and maintaining blueprints, specifications, schematics, or other forms of technical documentation.
  • Verifies accuracy of documentation and completeness of files and resolves discrepancies.
  • Ensures documents are retained and destroyed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implements processes for document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction.
  • May utilize an electronic document/record management system.


Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 0-3 years experience
    OR
    Equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Detailed Oriented
  • Attentiveness
  • Clerical Skills
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Good communication skills with detailed writing abilities for historical information
  • Must be organized, have understanding of folder structure, and able to multitask
  • Must be competent with MicroSoft Suite (mostly Word) and Adobe Acrobat, and have knowledge of Windchill or the concept of electronic document/record management systems.

Pay Range (USD)

$33,950 - $63,050

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
